  • As editor of TV Squad, managed a team of 19 writers spread across the country. Successfully integrated a significant number of new writers along with inherited staff.
  • During my tenure as Editor-in-Chief, the site averaged 6.8 million page views and 1.8 million unique visitors per month. Starting with my period as assistant editor, the page views and unique visitors more than doubled.
  • Worked with budget set by AOL; stayed at or under budget every month, keeping up the high editorial standards set by my predecessors.
  • Set editorial direction, including picking shows to review and helping writers create and craft weekly columns. With assistant editor, copy-edited and scheduled posts on a 24x7 basis.
  • Played a major role in the merger of TV Squad with AOL's Inside TV blog in 2010, including managing personnel, coordinating content like recaps, news, and interviews, and advising on editorial tone. After merger, became a senior writer/editor/critic for the newly-formed team.
  • Contributed 1-3 blog posts per day, including breaking news stories, reviews, recaps and interviews; also hosted and produced The TV Squad Podcast, a wide-open discussion of the current TV landscape that included interviews with celebrity guests.
  • Reported from events such as the network upfronts and the TCA press tour.
